ENGL Savage

I bought ENGL Savage couple of weeks ago. It's best amp I've ever tried and very versatile.

I'd like to know if Andy or some others have used Savage in studio. As far as I know for example Destruction and Motörhead have recorded their albums by using Savage.

Carnal Forge in the studio. The album please... die is a great example in my opinion.

I'd own a Savage based on their sound on that album if I could afford it.

Check out pretty much everything recorded in Studio Underground in Sweden (ACT, Carnal Forge, Steel Attack, RIsing Faith and so forth) The producer in that studio plainly refuses to record any other amp than the savage

Darkane uses Savage 120s since a while, I think starting with Expanding Senses.

they have this fancy "modded" version, i.e. half the knobs on the faceplate are missing...

Got it confermed now. Christoffer got the Savage 120 in -97 and Rusted angel was recorded in -98

Actually Pelle is tired of the Savage now, and is about to sell it. Now he's only using 5150 II.

I had 5150 II and don't see any reason for chancing Savage to 5150 II. 5150 is great amp but instead of selling Savage, I would buy 5150 and keep Savage.
