No, I don't think his voice is too different. It just sounds like he recorded with the same distortion as Norther.
Since 2 songs are re-recordings of old demos, 1 is an old Finnish folk song (2 songs actually) and 1 is an instrumental... That's 4/6 songs that he couldn't have any input on.
