Enslaved: "Vertebrae" due in September

I am not enjoying the guitarists' tones. They sound too vintage, and a bit pooty in parts, particularly the tremolo picking.

I'm giving "Vertebrae" a proper listen right now. I tried to before, but I couldn't maintain enough interest to. So far, I think it's alright, but not something I care much for. I'm not fond of the production values.

To me, everything just sounds very hollow. The production values are more like that of a rock/pop album.

I really like Ruun and was just listening to new songs on Myspace not liking any at all and it kinds sucks because Ruun just really hit me. Can't say I liked the production but that could have something to do with Myspace.
