Entombed Sound - Pedal ?!

Try this. Alligator clip a wire from ground on the input jack to ground on the output jack.

I have clean and soaked the board intensively already. I honestly think it is just old and something unseen by the eye has gone pop.
The sound Im getting is right, but it lacks power and distortion! Really has the sound of a flat battery.
And I have tried 2 batteries and a power supply, no change at all.
If I put everything on full and use it on my distortion channel on the cube, the sound is almost there but way too much noise and feedback.

Appreciate the input guys. But I got rid of it. Will find one again sometime.
Been fine tuning the MT2 and got a sound I am pretty happy with now with my 12 to 52 gauge strings on a b tuning.

I sold my HMII on eBay a few months back got £35 for it . Sure did get that Entombed sound pretty good . All the controls on max and then fine tune it with the amp head . I still dont like that guitar tone tho . Its no good for palm muted styles .

I know this is an old thread, but for those of you with older HM-2's, they use a different power adapter known as an ACA adapter. Sometimes if you plug these older pedals into a newer PSA adapter you can fry or partially fry a protecting diode which may result in bad or no sound. You can fix them by replacing any bad diodes. I have an old bass chorus ce-2b which sounds TITS on downtuned guitars that I got from a guy because he said it sounded like shit. I plugged it in and it was shit. Figured out the ACA thing (luckily the diode was not fried), dialed in the internal trim pot (which may or not have been fucked with by some previous owner) by ear until it sounded AMAZING!! I had it on my pedal board a year later and the guy heard it and was totally pissed he gave it to me.

Or forget everything I just said and send all your old shitty sounding boss pedal to me to get them out of your hair. I'll even pay shipping!!
