I am pretty happy with my RP355 (I play through headphones directly from it because of neighbors), but it can sound pretty digital and I was wondering if there is anything out there that has a superior and more realistic tone. Or would it be better to get some single pedals to go between the guitar and rp355? If I were to go that route, would I set the rp355 to be a clean tone and then add distortion etc...through the single pedals?

one more question...do you think guitar rig 4 would be better sounding than playing through a multi effects pedal?
