Those look like EMG's to me.

Granted EVERY photo i found in the 80s and 90s he had passives in his guitars, and most of todays but this paul is defeinitely EMG's

If I look at the new livepics from the myspace site, yes, those are EMGs.

gathering was 100% Duncan though, dunno exactly about FSSD.

That is a European guitar he got a couple of years ago... I forget what company, but it isn't one of his main guitars.
