ESP LTD H-1007FR 2014

Okay so I'd like to let you know that this model is still made in Korea.
I just discovered that Andy James was playing it in most of his many videos on YouTube (non-trem version) before getting his signature guitar. Seems like it's the top of the LTD line. Anyway, getting it in a few days..

Buy the old LTD Deluxe guitars, they are all made in South Korea. But i doubt there's much difference between China and Korea, China has gotten a lot better in the last decade at making guitars. But it always feels nicer with Made in Korea, than Made in China or Indonesia imo

Not too long ago I bought an ESP again, my first one is Floyd rose + EMG (an Sv) and this one is fixed bridge + SD (an horizon ntII)

I bought it used for just a bit more than a new LTD. I know some LTD are very good but I would suggest you simply take your time in searching for a nice ESP on your local Craigslist and simply add up or negociate the delivery fee to your place. You will not regret it as the ESP standard guitars are made of a good quality and most importantly you have very little chance of bad surprise with them, they are very consistent with their quality control (say, opposite to Gibson where every guitar is different). I would buy any day an ESP online while I wouldn't some other brands

EDIT : if you made sure about the quality of the model you are after then yes go for it. They are very good as long as you don't have one of the crap ones. Just out of my head I noticed they use LTDs in immortal as an example

The guitar is already ordered and arrived at the music store. Beside, I don't think Craiglist exists where I live lol. But yeah, Andy James is probably the next Petrucci or something like that and has dozens of videos with that guitar but then got his own signature and it's an LTD. He plays the h-1007 in the video below :
