They are this random ass hard rock group that played Ragnarokkr a few years back. The vocalist was so "don't give a fuck" that he was rocking sweat pants on stage. Sweat pants. They are pretty cool though on their albums.

Would like to contribute some boss Southern Rock to this mix. Far from that "Southern Metal" shit. Dez boys got fuckin RIFFS.

Also, thanks Dad for blasting this at all times when I was growing up.

Needs some more Steely Dan. Countdown to Ecstasy and Aja are pretty essential, in addition to Can't Buy a Thrill. I find those three to meander a lot less than some of the other ones.

Love - Forever Changes is pretty amazing. Highly rated, but still pretty obscure.

ELP - Tarkus is pretty fantastic, not obnoxious like Brain Salad Surgery.

UFO rocked. Lights Out is real good.

Boston - s/t is pretty untouchable as far as that kind of polished studio rock goes.

i went through a FOREVER CHANGES phase but came out the other side. it's a little calculated and self-satisfied for my tastes, although i recall the first tune in particular is really good.

I'm really enjoying The Royal Scam though. Aja is just ridiculous in a good way.

Yes - Fragile
Yes - Close to the Edge

Who's saying anything bad about Genesis?

 No one here was; I got a little defensive. Whenever I try and defend Genesis to my friends I almost always get resistance. It's my personal opinion that Genesis (with Gabriel on vocals) should be ranked up there with Floyd and Zeppelin. Amazing band.

I consider Lights Out UFO's weakest album of the 70's. Too cheesy for me. Phenomenon is clearly the best, No Heavy Petting second.

Also, most of The Who discography sucks.
