Essential Black Metal!

I'm looking for (in your opinion) the best black metal bands.

In the past I've listened to Dimmu Borgir, Abigail Williams, Gorgoroth, but what I listen to isn't important, im just looking for some awesome black metal, for me the more Satanic the better

I would recomment Nazxul, Emperor, Blood of Kingu, Darkspace, Der Weg Einer Freiheit, Immortal, Leviathan and Old Mans Child. You should find something there that you like.

I really like this thread. I've been listening to classic second wave black metal like Mayhem, Darkthrone, Immortal, Satyricon, Emperor, and Burzum for a few months now and I really need to expand on this because black metal is such an amazing genre. I really like Marduk and Beherit but haven't gotten my hands on the others yet.
