Both sets were amazing, but I loved the subtlety and choices of covers of Vanden Plas. Plus Andy Kuntz, he is quite the frontman and the vocalist. I could have stayed for 3 hours watching these guys play acoustic songs...

Only saw the VP one. All I have to say was that they floored me. It would be hard to top that acoustic set.

I am admittedly biased because I am much more of a fan of VP than Evergrey, but I was absolutely floored by the VP acoustic show. In my wildest dreams, I never thought I would hear Mr. Bojangles at a PPUSA show, much less absolutely love it. That was a magical performance and was the highlight of the fest for me.

I really regret missing the VP acoustic set! I was kept awake all night by teenagers and what passes for a young adult!!!!! Next year I will have my OWN room!
I love acoustic sets so both were fantastic for me....though I have to say VP blew me away, and along with the Therion set, has to be one of the best sets I have yet to see all time let alone at Prog Power and that says a lot as I have seen quite a few phenomenal sets in my time.

Enjoyed both shows... but I was blown away with the GB/VIP acoustic set. Glad that Glenn offered it to us and I attended. $15 well spent!

Eh, I don't think a comparison should/could be made. Very different sets. Absolutely loved 'em both.
