I just watched the last of The Prime Ministerial Debates on iPlayer and I have to say I think Gordon Brown did really well. I'm still undecided who I'm going to vote for, or if I'm even going to vote at all... but I'm leaning towards Labour. I would need to read all the manifestos in full before deciding whether to vote or not though. I have read segments of them, and I have to say David Cameron and Nick Clegg aren't as squeaky clean as they'd like you to think, and neither are their policies.

I know what I agree with and what I don't agree with, but I don't really know what to do, or who to vote for.

Brown isn't THAT bad. However, I have issues with Labour's lack of respect with civil liberties, and the fact they have not done enough to stop the gap between rich and poor increasing.

I'd vote Lib Dem, lesser of 3 evils. Mainly because he'd introduce electoral reform, and there are some nice socialist policies on banking. However, I don't reallly agree with some of their economic policies.

Voting for the lesser of evils is still voting for an evil.

Does the UK have a socialist party? If so (I'm sure it does, what western nation doesn't?), why not vote for the party that actually represents your values instead of voting against them?

The UK has several socialist parties. However, none of them are standing for election in my area, so I can't vote for any of them. But even if I could, with the first past the post system, my vote wouldn't count. I would vote against them if it means keeping the Conservatives out.
