Determined to add something new to my studio without buying a control surface...

I HATE drawing in automation with a mouse and i hate doing minor wave editing with a mouse and i have a best friend who is a 3d designer so while at his flat, i got an idea!

I bought a Wacom graphics Tablet!

These things are fucking cool for drawing in stuff that usually sucks with a mouse!

It's just a small one (a6) but i find myself using automation again!

Anyhoo, pointless discovery !

i find that if you have little artistic skills, those things are impossible to draw with. All my art friends are really good, but i cant draw anything.

My laptop is a convertible with the same thing going on, and I'm actually able to work better with it than the usual paper and pencil. Since I'm a geek who has to know everything, I found a way to set up anti-aliasing right on input so it smooths out some jitters already in my hand, and with all tablets if something is really hard to get looking good I can zoom in and do more detailed stuff three times as big. As far as automation and controls go I've never tried it, but I can just sit in class and draw bears and feel less inclined to destroy all those who would make me take fucking statistics classes.

I never thought about busting out the ole' Wacom to draw automation.

I'll have to give it a try.

Mutant, it's a bit of a processor hog, but if you're ever in Linuxland and need some help let me know.

I'm going to try setting automation in this later, sounds interesting.
