Might be a really dumb question but I have an external HD with my samples on it (VSL, S2.0, SSD4/Trigger etc).
What I want to know is can I use the same external HD for a desktop and a laptop and just authorise them for use on each machine individually? I guess this should be ok in the case of using my ilok2/vienna key but I'm less sure about Superior Drummer.
What I want to do is have my home setup with external sample drive as per normal and also be able to take the sample drive with me to use with a laptop if I go mobile.
Will this work ok? Does it matter that the samples were only installed once to one drive as long as I authenticate on each computer?
