And what comes to the One Man Army recommendation, the suckiness of that band was what inspired me to search for quality thrash. Yeah, its supposed to be "death-thrash", yet it is a band with occasional alright good thrashy songs, while the rest is melodic jumpdafuckup sentimental little girl metal.

Melodic death has nothing to do with thrash, unless your exposure is limited to what is fed to you by the masses.
