I think men are predisposed to weakness when it comes to our dogs. I've noticed that women seem to handle it better for some reason when they lose a dog. They're usually upset for a while but they get over it...not us. The death of one of my dogs when I was a kid scarred me for life, and it wasn't even mine...it was my mom's. I don't know what the hell I'm going to do when Marduk dies.
