ok, so through some strange twist of fate, these lovely ladies seem to be coming to my hometown on my 36th birthday

you know, 6 x 6 is 36

so, in that vein, if you could OPEN with "Number Of The Beast" and dedicate it to my buddy Joe, that would RULE.

he LOVES Maiden, is a year and a half plus clean and sober, and is gonna put up with my drinky, :puke: ass all night long.

I'm even bringing a girl too, I think.

anyhow, THANKS for coming back so soon, ROCK Juneau tonight, then give us the best show of the 3 (Alaskans are all loyal to their hometowns and stuff)

regards,

Mr. Deep

Oh man that show was so awesome! I can't believe you guys played Alexander the Great!!!!!!!! Thanks for the signed photo and t-shirt for my lil bro, we're both maiden fanatics so he's gonna love it. By the way, I'm in love with Heather!!

You must come back!:headbang:

I meant to grab the setlist from Sara, but some dude actually hopped up on the stage in front of me and snagged it. I'm glad you got your hands on it BD.

As usual, it was an awesome show. One of the disadvantages to coming up here is that poor Linda uses a kit provided by the venue. Last night it gave her a few problems, and I felt bad for her. But Linda is a true professional, she'd play a song, fix something, play another, fix something... and hardly anyone noticed because Aja used the time between tunes to pump up the crowd.

The crowd behaved for the most part. There was a mosh early in the show, and that caused quite a few people to hold back from near the stage. There was one or two crude comments from a couple of drunks, none of which will I repeat here. I did chuckle at one metalhead. Every time one of the ladies came up to the very front of the stage, he'd get in front of her and headbang at her feet so that his hair would be whipping her leg.

I was pleased that the ladies remembered me, and Linda even remembered my name. (It was awesome chatting with you again Linda! Take care and come see us healthy!) This time I was on the street team, and got to pass out A LOT of flyers. (Thanks to Aja for a great idea for next time!)

When I asked Sara about how her foot felt, she responded by doing a bunny hop with devil horns. She was even more intense during the show.

Wanda made it all look easy, and Heather looked like she had tons of fun. Going out into a crowd of drunk Alaskans... intense girl!

Thanks again to the ladies and their crew. It was an awesome show. I'll bug Adam (the venue owner) to get you up here during the summer. Hopefully, you can get a day to see a few sights and see why we are crazy enough to live here! :loco:

Hey Jack! Hey Josh! Alaska was killer as usual!! It's always a crazy time when we go there!! Good seeing you and chatting w/you again Jack! Congrats again and a belated Happy Birthday wish! I didn't see this post before we left or I would have said something!!! Wish you were there John!! We will be back!!...let's hope in the Summer next time!!! The temps were all above zero this time and ranged from a mild 5 degrees to a pleasant 45 degrees! Only needed one coat this time!

Hey there Mr. Deep!
It was good to see you again and thanks for the support! Alaska is sure enough some awesome country and great people! We had a blast everywhere we went. I'm really hoping to see it in the warm weather next time - just for a little change of pace! :p

Slightly OT.....

My boss was gone all last week. He'd gone to Washington State with his daughter. BY COINCIDENCE, they were on a flight out of Fairbanks on the night of the 17th. Sitting next to his daughter was none other than our own Linda, obviously tired after the show!

LOL.. so he was telling me this this morning, but he doesn't know the ladies by name. He gives me a description, and I knew who it was right away. He still went to the band website and pointed, confirming what I knew.

And I have a good report on the "state" everyone was in on the plane....

Man the world is an itty bitty place, isn't it?!! That's a riot!

It was the only part of the trip where I didn't sleep through the flight....

When we're on the road and doing a lot of flying, our travel schedule just doesn't allow time to get a full night's sleep in a bed! o_O :zombie:
So I'm perfecting the art of sleeping on planes on these road gigs lately- out of sheer necessity!!!

Yeah, I told him if he was on the same flight, he should have been at the damn show! LOL!

I heard you had sunglasses on. Easy way to dim the lights and help ya sleep. Hopefully you have a decent supply of neck pillows!
