wow i was listioning to Falkenbach and i never really listioned to him(manly one guy) i really like it. Anyone no anything about it

all you need to know - is that it fucking kicks ass!
one of the best folk metal bands about, he is soo good. he started off in Iceland but then as theres not so good recording shit thier he moved to germany and as far as i know is living there today. when i hear falkenbach music i can just hear iceland in the music, abit like Sigur Ros.
i seriously reccomend Ok Nefna Tysvar Ty to anyone.
listening to that album got me into folk stuff and Heralding is just sheer quality.

Yes they are amazing!! I admire this guy a lot, he's kind of a Quorthon-type figure. The new album is really great and so is Ok Nefra Tysvar Ty.

Everybody loves Falkenbach?
I have two albums by this project. They both have a sound different to other bands and some atmosphere. The lyrocs are quite good too.
But i can't join in the enthusiasm here at all. I liked Ok Nefna Tysvar Ty quite a lot for some time, but when time passed it started to get boring and insignificant. It lacks intensity, emotional as well as musical.
Now i made my girlfriend give me "Heralding the Fireblade" as easter-present because i heard it would be different in sound and i had some hope left for Falkenbach to be great, but i fear it has the same sound as the other album (but i just gave it one listen - enough to know that it has the same sound, but maybe it turns out to be much better though).

Along with Quorthon, Vratyas Vakyas changed my whole perception on metal composition, listening etc.. he is a true genius.

Is it just me, but are the vocals way too low on Ok Nefna Tysvar Ty. I love the album otherwise, and would have it in my CD player all the time, if not for the vocals being too low (I hope someome knows what I mean so I don't come off sounding like a picky bastard)...
