Fallout: New Vegas out in 20 days, who's pre-ordered?

I haven't pre-ordered it yet because I've still got an assload of stuff left to do on Fallout 3.

Waiting doesn't bother me. I have a huge list of games I've barely touched due to work. Fallout: New Vegas is going to require a hefty time investment to work out whether it's unworthy of the 'Fallout' brand like its predecessor was. Even with Avellone's involvement, I'm a bit doubtful. A one-year development cycle is not enough time to flush all the shit out of that terrible engine.

I'm a huge fallout 1 and 2 fan, but I liked 3 as well. I think a true sequel (isometric infinity engine kind of thing) would have been the best, but the golden age of computer RPGs (Baldurs Gate/Planescape/Fallout) is over.

You have to take what you can get in CRPGs nowadays. The main purpose for NV for me will be to tide me over till The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings.

I'm still playing the original that I bought last winter from GOG.com. And I stilll haven't completed FO3 either, that's been on the backburner for 1.5 years already...

Probably will wait for a price drop of some sort and get it then.

Same here Dalinkwent, but I tend to stay a couple of years behind the gaming curve generally. There's very few modern games I get really into nowadays, so I spend most of my time playing pretty much anything else. Then catch up on the modern games.

Right now im waitin on brink (is it released yet?) and the new bioshock thats in the works but thats not for like 2 years but its soooooooooo sweet looking
