So, this is a really cheesy song I made for my girlfriend on her birthday o couple of days ago. Everything is recorded/played and mixed by me. Since this is faaaaar away from anything i have ever written before and the fact that I really can´t sing i´m quite happy with it. At least I got laid..

Enjoy dudes:

Hi!
Try to tune vocal doubles to make them more solid.
Also the reverb is maybe too low, so need some hi-pass filtering. It could clear the overall mix sounding.

Nice song, btw. ;)

Thanks alot dude! I appreciate the input.

Yeah I get what you mean. But I really did not want to use any autotune at all on this. Ofcourse it would sound better (Since I am definitely not a singer :p). But I just felt that that would have ruined the whole feeling of the song, if you get my point..

It is a beautiful song , but, since I dont have techincal idea as i have started learning now, yes I can say "artistically" it can get a big more nice drama if you put in the middle of the song a nice instrumental part

Made me smile :) Always takes balls to put something personal somewhere so public as the internet. Respect for that as well.

Thanks! Glad to hear that. :)
Yeah i had a bit doubt if I should put it up att all first.. Probably the most personal song I´ve ever done. But I´ve done more embarrassing things on the internet before so what the hell.. :p

I would've muted the double and saved it for the chorus. But I am no fan of double tracked main vocals, I think it removes too much of the personality.

Thanks for the input. I get what you mean. But I, one the other hand is a really big fan of double tracked vocals I must say. Especially with singers (Such as myself) that can´t really sing for shit haha.. I think it "masks" some of the shittyness of the vocals hah..

This was the first thing I noticed as well. Even though you like the double track throughout, I think the verses would have a lot more personality if you saved the double track for the chorus. If removing the double track in the verse leaves it too dry, you could try a subtle blend type reverb to mesh it in with the track a little more.

+1 on it taking a lot of balls to post a personal song like this!

No problem. Hope she liked it.

Yeah like i said it takes balls. But that said the sneap forums seem to be quite friendly compared to the rest of the internet - generally people on here have an interest in music and are not just killing time online.
