Farewell and good luck Heather!

Good luck Heather. Sad to see you go, you have an incredible talent. This year has been the biggest "Maiden" year ever for me, and that with being a fan since '82... I have seen Maiden play 5 times this year, met many many cool fans, seen several cover bands playing Maiden and of course seen the Maidens 3 times this year... and out of all these great times... one of the greatest highlight was watching Heather play the leads in Alexander the Great. Absolutely stunning! Keep playing you have a real talent. I look forward to adding Afterlife CDs to my collection.

Heather- you're an extraordinary person with so much integrity and so much depth as a human being. It's been a joy to play with you. I will miss you, your crazed stage antics and the musicality you've always brought to the show.

And I can't wait to see and hear the Afterlife's debut show! :headbang:

:cry:Even with me being on the East Coast (well, not quite the coast) now, I'm sad to hear this.:cry::cry:
In addition to your excellent playing, there's one memory I have of you that stand out above the rest. It was the Coach House show last July. After the show, I had gotten into a rather lengthy conversation with Aja. As usual I waited around awhile knowing everyone was waiting their turn to chat with y'all. I remember you waited through my chatting with Aja, just to say Hi and give me a hug. I had been feeling bummed a few days before, because the previously night was my birthday party and only one or two of my friends showed up. I remember being sad that many I considered friends didn't appear to care. Yet, here was someone I knew just froma little conversation after Maidens concert who actually waited around to talk to a fan. I was very touched. I'll always remember that act of yours.:):)

Aww all the best Heather. Was great getting to know you during the brief 2 shows here in Utah. You fit with the ladies so perfectly! All the best in your future endevours and please keep us all informed of what is going on!

Linda (and ladies), very kind words to Heather... What you guys said about her came through on stage and when saying hello to her from the fan point of view. Best of luck on your search for a replacement guitarist. Heather is a tough act to follow.

:cry::cry: I'm so bummed on that news.
