fastest way to translate audio drums to midi in cubase 5?

hey guys.

I would like to know how do you translate audio drums in midi notes... is there any fast way. if read something about using vari audio to do that but it didn't work for me.

also i'm on cubase 5 and osx so kt drumtrigger won't work for me... any other solution?

Trigger or Drumagog is the only real way to do this within the DAW.

I'm not a Cubase user, but this can be accomplished in Reaper using the stock plugins. Check the sample replacement link in my sig. Perhaps this can be accomplished in Cubase somehow (using stock or free plugins)?

Why isn't KT working for you? Is it snow leopard incompatibility or something? Because it definitely works on leopard in cubase 5.

kt trigger breaks the vst bridge for some reason... don't know why.

drum a gog is a little expensive just for translating to midi i think
