Barathrum V.I.T.R.I.O.L is one of my favourite metal records of all time, so it's gotta be it. I love the thrashblack/death crossover to bits, and it grooves like shit to boot.

But seriously, Ive tried multiple times. Whats the best starting point for someone who cant get into them? You know, the album that if I dont like it, I will never like Absu

They got all the ingredients I like and they are from upper middle class white bread suburbia Texas. But I dont know.

That being said, I adore Melechesh with all my blackened heart

Or you could just go ahead and check out Barathrum V.I.T.R.I.O.L, because it's killer. I'm not that big on the other Absu albums, but that one's a gem.
