c'mon joey, you pussy. i was looking forward to your contribution. just pick somebody.

and waz416c: i agree with you about both fave and least fave. although, i'd consider chris cornell to be bordering on metal (at least back in the day).

ps: and guys, post at least one song so i can listen to something....

ok, fine....A favorite and A least favorite are...

fav: David Eugene Edwards (16 Horsepower, Woven Hand)

least fav: Whoever did that "milkshake" song.

good call on durst, ken.

one of my favs: andy latimer, of camel. i forget if you've heard em or not, dorrie, but if not, check out the song "lady fantasy." andy is an excellent musician, and has this really interesting vocal tone...it's almost depressing sounding (in some parts), but soothing at the same time.

LEAST fav: fred durst. he's a piece of fucking shit 'singer.'

"Lady Fantasy" is a great song..only thing I have from Camel is a 2 disc greatest hits, older stuff is very good. Need to look into those older albums eventually.

thanks for the replies. i have some bands i need to check out now (and some others i've just been too lazy to bother with).

@joey: the milkshake song - hahahaha! good choice

Many fave vocalists but to pick just one- Jarboe of Swans or maybe Joe Cocker
Least fave voc- That guy from The Darkness and all the hair bands he impersonates.

Great someone else who listens to 16 Horsepower! I can't wait till Woven Hand comes to Chicago in July. Too bad about 16 HP breaking up. Some great music.

mh, favorite non metal voice would be karan casey (there's nonmetal music that i like way better, but her voice owns)

least favorite: urg....there's many bad singers out there. maybe peter maffey but probably only 3% of the ppl here know him (he sucks...)

Favourite - Jon Anderson (of Yes). Heart of the Sunrise would be one of his best.

Least Favourite - Crazy Frog

attention nigs, you are posting singers i've never heard of and neglecting to name the band they sing in or even a song i can go listen to. i'm too lazy to look these people up on the internet. a little help please...
