Solefald - Black for Death definately takes the title as "Best Record of the Year"

Origin disappointed me a bit. Same with The Astral Factor, though Mountains remains a very good song.

Blind Guardian's A Twist in the Myth is OK, nothing exceedingly great.

Kashmir's No Balance Palace is a nice comeback from a very weak album. Great stuff al around and with David Bowie as guest vocals on The Cynic, it's just great.

Sunn O))) & Boris' Altar is a good record as well. Surprised me thoroughly.

Buckethead made a very good album as well. Crime Slunk Scene is full amazing guitarmanship and good songwriting.
