There's a town on highway 101 in California that I always went through on the way to San Fransicko, I think its call Gillroy. Anyway, its the garlic capital of the world. They grow TONS of garlic around the town and every sign/shop/etc. in the town has something to do with garlic. The smell of freshly cut garlic is one of the strongest smells in the world.

That was a good story.

I've never been to Gilroy, and since I love garlic so god damn much, I must go. Oh good, it's near Big Sur, I was going to go up there in a month or two. I'll bring my garlic satchel with me.

I hope there is a sequel some day.

When will people learn? A potato IS NOT a vegetable. It is a tuber, which grows underground. Basically, it is a root.

Onion/Garlic, Peppers, Tomato. And technicalities suck ass, anyone who actually recognizes the tomato as a fruit is gay.

Cauliflower is the "water" of all foods, it has no taste. Some of that stuff like celery, beets, spinach and cabbage are pretty gross and the radish is only slightly more flavorful than cauliflower. Don't think I've ever had eggplant and anyone who prefers raw carrots to cooked carrots is an uncivilized ape. :loco:

Whoa, a radish has no flavor? Those things are the fireball of the vegetable world!

FIREBALL!!!

You sir have NOT had a good radish. I eat a considerable amount of spicy food (not as much as I used to, I gave up friendly competitions when I was 19 or so), but a good raw radish is quite a sinus cleanser. :Spin:

A strong and charismatic radish is definitely one of the supreme vegetables. Fantastic texture and a nice crisp taste.

Water Chestnuts = Win

The radish has an almost flavorless twang to me. So that puts us in one of three scenarios: I've never had a good radish, I've killed all my taste buds, or NAD is a wimp. Cast your vote! :loco:

I live off of my homemade salsa though. Various flavors like Onion/Garlic/Red Pepper, Jalapeno, Banana Pepper, Habanero, etc. MMMM :kickass: Anyone who doesn't like that is crazy.
