Curry paste or powder?

Either way: the hotter, the better. Korean food is unbeatable in that respect. :worship:

Powder cause I can't find a place that sells DECENT curry paste, but I can find really good powder. At home I have some of both. Korean food, Indian food are both really good. Mongolia has some pretty spicy dishes too. I love my food spicy, I just wish I knew a good place around here that sells that stuff, I need some spicy food to help clear out this cold.

I need to visit a Korean restaurant some day. There's not a single one in whole fucking Cologne :yell:
There are a very few in Berlin. But they're crap. It's all adapted to "European taste", which means the food is less spicy and greasier than the food you'd get in Korea. :yuk:
I was so lucky to have a Korean "sister" in my New Zealand host family, and there were heaps of authentic Asian food places in Christchurch (NZ) as well, so that's where I learnt to love Korean cuisine. :worship:

Same problem over here, usually, the more the place looks like a total dive outside, the more authentic the food is. China town has some good places though.

i fucking love thai food. mmmmmmmmm them shitz.

spices are KEY to food. i have like 20 different shitz and feel my collection is severely lacking.

Anyway most of what's served as foreign food tastes aeons away from the dishes you can find in the countries of origin. I mean pizza in most Italian restaurants in Germany has nothing to do with trve pizza. Chinese food is glutamat all the way. And French bread specialities, well, chewing-gum :yuk:

food is wierd. if there werent so many drawbacks to IV nutrition, id have a drip going right now.

haha, true. tastebuds have ruled us for millions of years. i just think its funny because food tastes good for like 1 second and then its turned into energy and the rest gets shat out of your ass. generally not worth it to me.

thats my point. eating is boring. tasty does not = exciting to me.
cooking and eating are alot of work for not alot of result. eating out is tasty but expensive. id rather drink a calorie-packed tasteless milkshake.
