Fear Factory/Suffo/Hypocrisy/Decap Tour

I will be seeing them live soon this novemeber. I am pretty excited. Hopefully Hypocrisy will get a full amount of playtime this time (last time I saw them, they had to cut short for Nile to play).

k, like I said, im not a big "song titles" kinda guy, but I'll give a brief review anyways...

Decapitated - Played really well. last time I saw them the sound was awful, and it was a bit better this time. Drums still sounded kinda weak, and the rhythm guitar tone was a little muddy and low in the mix, but they played great. Not very fun to watch though, kinda just stand there and headbang. Vocals weren't good at all, really monotonous and one-dimensional. They kept my attention tho, i watched the whole set and enjoyed it.

Hypocrisy - third time seeing Hypocrisy, and they've never let me down. The sound was huge, they played HELLA tight, and looked like they were genuinely having a good time onstage. The drums were solid as fuck, but of course, look whos playing drums...and homeboy from Darkane did a fantastic job on guitar.

Suffocation - Doesn't matter who else is on the the show, Suffo will kill 'em every time. They were absolutely perfect. Vocals were bbrruuttaall, you could clearly hear all the instruments well, and they were tight as a dolphins' butthole. I dont really have anything else to say about them but 10/10.

Fear Factory - if I had never heard them before, i would NOT be walking away a fan...for the first 4 songs the sound guy had his head up his ass apparently...it was so muddy you couldn't even make out the drums. The vocals were really weak and drenched with effects, sounded like he had blown out his voice. Even just speaking his voice was crackling and weak. The guitars were overbearingly loud, but crisp. Once they fixed the sound you still couldn't hear the rest of the drum kit over the muddy kick drums, and he was really inconsistent with the snare hits, some were way quiet and others would cut through the room. Not impressed with this band, but i'll give 'em a break as it was the first time i've seen em live...

Whoops, I didn't read the thread at all, I just threw my own post in and left. Sorry.

Yeah, I was at the Palladium and I will see them again there 17 (saw you are going too, right on! )
Yeah I was disapointed in Hypocrisy's cut back but I thought Nile did a good performance. I pray no crap happens this time and that Hypocrisy will have alot more play time as there are less bands this time.
