Fear Factory tonight!!

Okay, sorry Kevin. I crapped out. Asthma was acting up and a full, smokey bar was not in the cards last night. How was it. I heard from K. and N. that there was a ton of drunken CoB nonsense at the 5 Point. Did you go?

come pick me up.
You know I would if I could :) Next time, though, for sure!

Lillitu, I did not go to the 5 point, but the show as a whole was generally not as good as most. The sound for Fear Factory (one of my favorite bands) sucked bad, and actually cut out completely for 20 minutes. You couldn't even really hear Burton's clean vocals, which is my favorite aspect of Fear Factory. That, coupled with the morons behind me that kept yelling for them to get off the stage left my 2nd time seeing with something to be desired. Poor guys. Even with their bad sound, they crushed the extremely over-rated Lamb of God, who's sound also cut out on them twice.

Children of Bodom played very well, but man, watching Alexi's stage antics was almost vomit inducing.

With that said, I had a fun time and can't wait to see Fear Factory again at a better venue with sound that works!

hahah Alexi on stage is like...watching a bear and dog show at the circus...lol! hes so...i dunno....lame..yet you just cant stop watching it...hahah kinda like a really lame car wreck...

anyway..sucks that FFs sound wasnt up to par! but atleast you had a good time!

::Blink::blink::

This was at the Showbox, right? I expect much more from that venue. They have a better sound system than the Graceland. Too bad, that kind of sucks. I don't really like Lamb of God so that was a large factor in my not going.

Yeah, Showbox. I have never really liked that venue. Maybe because every show I've seen there has been packed, and I hate having to cruise around through the masses and share sweat with them.
