What happened to the FF that wrote songs like "Shock," "Demanufacture," or "Leechmaster"?

I hope those songs aren't indicative of the whole album.

I like old fear factory occasionally but the new song and samples sucked. The kick drums on that song on blabbermouth are barley audible. That's one of my favorite aspects of the band. The style riffs they have need kicks upfront to push the music imo. The snare and entire production sucks actually. I'm not usually picky on production either.

Besides that song being meh it sounds unmastered. If that's the final mastering this album is going to fail. Heard they recorded somewhere different, big mistake imo.

Slightly OT: Just saw 'em live. I don't even like them but they're a pretty good live band. The drummer was machine like. Talk about a BRUTAL distortion, they run one of the "screamingest" distortions I've heard in person.
