Feedback on a Sturgiscore mix?

I've been learning how to mix deathcore and death metal, but I also enjoy metalcore stuff and figured if I want to get into metal production I should try my hand at that style of mixing as well.

I think the guitars need more high end but otherwise I'm not sure what else to do.

The drums sound as if there are nonexistent... or maybe somebody hitting a piece of cardboard. Liven them up! Push those low frequencies in the kick and give that snare a nice THWACK sound.

I agree with the above, and I also can agree that the guitars need more high end. Besides that, I think it's pretty good. Very Emmure like.

A small tip if u want the guitars to sound clear without fizz is to set the LPF at around 7-8k Hz and then use a D82 Maximizer to bring up the presence. Dont forget to do some cuts at around 4k Hz (fizz) and and at 3,2k Hz which is the most ear-fatiguing frequency.
