Just for a change, I've recorded a little more than a single riff this time - there are three whole riffs, linking together to form something that, after a shitload of work, may be the skeleton of a song waiting to be fleshed out. Haven't written any lead guitar for this yet (mainly 'cos I'm an even worse lead guitarist than I am a rhythm guitarist), so all we have is drums programmed with Leafdrums 2.2, one track of bass guitar and four tracks of rhythm, all through Guitarport and mixed with Adobe Audition.

Cheers!

Hey Dill,
You tunes are always getting better and tighter. You still need to get Drumkit From Hell though :D Also you should post some of you GuitarPort/Pod patches. Keep up the metal :headbang:

Sounds good, I'd say a little less of the kick drum and the toms, more brightness on the snare, more reverb on the cymbals and hi hat. Maybe not as wide a stereo image on the toms, but that's all to taste, anyway...

Sounds great, though...I really like Audition...you can do good stuff with it.

Geocities servers seem to be going on the blink somewhat lately... dunno whether just trying a 'save target as...' would work... I'm really gonna try and find better file hosting soon, it's just that I have a budget of precisely zero to work with, what with debts to pay off and a pretty small wage...
