Feedback wanted! New Planets Align song. (Recab 3)

Hi!

Actually my first real post here. Been observing for a while. I'd like some fresh eyes on this mix I did of a sketch for a new song with my band Planets Align. The drums are all from the sneap forum, which I am forever grateful that all of you guys have contributed with!

The signal for the guitars was:

ESP Eclipse - POD X3 w/ Diamond Plate amp - Recabinet 3 w/ Tangerine & 1960 cabs.

Synths was made with Nexus 2.

Vocals were done by me with a Studio Projects B1.

Hope to get some opinions on both the mix and the songwriting itself.

Waiting to order a new 2x12 Cab so I can record my ENGL Powerball instead of the POD X3. Hope that it will do a lot of difference.

What kind of microphones you use from reсabinet ?

We actually used the Powerball miced on our upcoming album. Sounded great!

I used a 57 on the Tangerine and 121 on the 1960.
