Schecters are actually very nice, even the cheap ones....I'm very picky about what I play on, and I absolutely love the Omen 6, I much rather have a high end ESP, but I can wish in one hand and shit in the other, so yea....IMO Schecter would be a good choice for you....

B.C. Rich man. I play one and i love it. Ebony board floyd rose 7-strings whole deal. I put a dimarzio evo in the bridge. Sounds pretty good. You could probably get a blemished nj series bc rich for 400 or 500 dollars. They are good if you like to shred and sound exellent on the neck pickup without distortion. Good guitars man. Secon choice a schecter. The c1 artist has a neck through body, usa genuine seymour duncans, a tonepros bridge, and all that other good stuff. They run at 499
