i know some of you aren't big on this band, but this is one of my best productions in my opinion

spent 35 days making this cd, real proud of the outcome

coolest part for me was the stutter/matrix transition. i always try to incorporate that at least once on an EP or demo, haha. i try in about every song but it never seems to fit.

very awesome incorporation of that though, brilliant really.

Loved it. Sounds absolutely killer, and I also like their music from what's on their Myspace. Really good job, though I'm not exactly down with the whole _christian_ hc/metal thing

i pulled out some effects from my ass that i've never even heard before, they are so bad ass

and the whole thing is really a good listen, 9 of the 10 songs are really good, and the one song that is bad, really isnt all that bad! it just has lots of break down parts which gets old

they're spin on it isnt bad tho, the lyrics are clever and metaphoric
they dont really force god into your ears, which is cool

can't wait for this to get out to the masses

Congratulations!. This sounds huge!
That stutter/matrix transition CJ mentioned fits there perfectly and those reverse/feedback effects in end of the song are soooo cool. And once again the vocal sound & production is top-notch!

just chop the hell out of the track manually after doing
vox only bounce ? any easier way ?

great production, really dig the vocals though i have to say that they're
a hint too much cleaned up again for my taste.

drums were mic'd
guitars were originally recorded through a mesa, but we went back and re-recorded everything with a pod because a test proved it sounded better

bass was direct in through a great river

all the vocals are simply recorded flat with an at3035, and compressed a lot

thats really all there was to it

the matrix trick was done with several passes of a kaos pad version 3, thats why the second one is so mono

the first one is stereo cuz its a combination of 6 passes hard with panning automation

i think the feedback on this song is the original mesa tracks, but that doesnt tell ya much haha

OH! and the matrix at the very very end of the song (i thought you were all talking about the matrix at the middle)

or whatever you wanna call those things

is actually the result of hooking up the kaos pad to its self in vinyl loop mode, you'll get instant feedback, then you can control it it on the touch pad. controllable feedback from the unit its self. i did 3 passes to create the ending

i prefer to do the session with you, rather than mix your session, i have no gaurantee what i could make your recordings sound like...

thats why im not a mixer man, im a producer/engineer

my rates start at 200 a day
