Hey guys sorry it might be in the wrong section but i seriously need your guys opinion on a mix before i send the band , they were looking for a " raw - thrash " sound but with a modern twist please tell me if im close ?

It's not bad.....but the bass is a no no. It lacks in bass frequencies and you can only hear the strings ringing here and there during the playing. Remember that you need bass for a big crushing sound.
Moreover I can hear some clips

so what should i do i have 2 bass tracks 1 miced ampeg svt clas. 8x10 , 2 sans amp di both tracks are just compressed and a slight eq ? please guide me in teh right direction thanks XeS

so i i changed the bass compressed it a bit more no clipping and lowered some hi end and brought the low end gurth up a tad

I liked the first mix better. Too much low end in the bass on the second one.

i'd give the kick a bit more in the 70-110 Hz region. And a bit less on the bass in that region and more in the low mids around 200hz ish.
That's just from me messing around with eq and trying to listen to individual instruments when i boosted/cut different freq

Hey guys thanks soo muh for the comments so i did another mix , noodles,audiophile777 lowered the vox plus more de - esser and eq teh kicks to sit a little tighter let me no what u guys think ?

that sounds a lot better. Nailed the genre spot on

Vocals and bass are still pretty loud on my end. Other than that it sounds pretty good.
