Finally got around to watching the Watershed bonus DVD

TECHNICALLY it's a nord solo...

I don't think so. I have a Nord Electro and it sure doesn't sound like that. (I'm talking about the CD itself, not the DVD)
OR maybe they put it through a real Leslie in the studio. Let's hope that mr. Bogren visits here again so we can ask!

Anyhoo, I've had the Watershed special edition for awhile now, have to watch the DVD one of these days.. :)

I guess he's funny, but also painfully awkward with his stutter - I just feel bad for the guy, but at least he seems happy! (playing in Opeth, he should! :D)

Strangely I think the opposite

I don't really like orchids and morningrise, I feel like there is no real structures, just riffs after riffs.

I didn't really like the last two albums though. But all the albums in the middle (after morningrise and before ghost reveries) are amazing.

I understand, they do sound more loose but I wouldn't say they don't have structure just by the sheer amount of melody lines they have...

lol I can see why most people would say they prefer the older stuff compared to the newer and vise versa but I'm glad I can appreciate both equally. The sound is different.

shit...as gay as it sounds. When Axe speaks I just want to hug him to tell "it's ok" haha

On the Round House tapes there are keys for the older songs that aren't there on the albums which I think Per delivers really well without being too convoluted.

Edit: Sorry I've had a fe wto drink

Per is possibly the most tasteful keyboardist in metal. I far prefer what he does to the "keyboard shredder" types. Not to say Per can't tear it up, mind you! But I like his work, and I can't say that about DT/Stratovarius/CoB-type stuff.

Oh yes, absolutely. There are some GREAT 5.1 mixes on the market. I know, you like Metal especially, dude. But get The Beatles - "love" 5.1 mix. That´s AWESOME and a Sound experience, you´ll never forget. Trust me.

Bjork's Volta CD is pretty crazy..
It's just a brilliant use of the technology (unfortunately there's a few dodgy decisions,.. on the whole it's great though!)
