Well... it's a start at least =)
I've been trying to reamp my Mesa without success for a while now. I had Solo C set up initially for this song, but it was too fizzy no matter what I did. I figured I might as well just mic up a real amp to get a real sound and I managed to get something decent with only HP/LP and two little cuts. I've been working on this song for three days straight pretty much full time now. It's the first I've contributed to composition-wise in over a year and a half, so I'm really stoked about it.

It's missing vocals and a solo, but that's for later on. What do you guys think? Any mix tips would be really appreciated.

i really liked the beginning with just the strings and the bass, but the guitars lack some beef
it also sounds like theres some editing issues going on in the guitar, did you just copy the riff?
the leadguitar also sounds a bit missplaced at some ports, composingwise
but the overall feel of the song is really nice man!

Thanks! I didn't realise the playing was that obvious :p
I'm probably going to slap on some new strings and re-record the guitars sometime, but do you have any tips to beef up the guitars? Mic position I guess?
