Finally listned to The Mantle

While The Mantle is definitely a seasonal album (alternately autumnal on the acoustic pieces and cold and desolate on the instrumentals, can't you just feel the snow beginning to fall on The Hawthorne Passage?), I have no problem listening to it in any climate. It's not 100% metal, nor does it need to be or make any pretensions in that direction.
