You don't need a load with Engl amps, just turn the power on only, do NOT flip the standby. Sound will come out of the FX Send or the Line Out of the amp, I can't remember which is back there it's been a while since I had a FB in here.

Do not connect the speaker output to the profire! Seems like thats what you meant....

Connect the FX send or if there is a line out or preamp out...use that.

Well, since the Fireball doesnt have a pre-amp out I connected the send from the fx loop into input one of the Profire and the sound was very fizzy with absolutely no body. Is that the way its supposed to be or am I doing something wrong. Maybe thats just the way the signal sounds before going through the power-amp? even when I play around with the amps eq and presence I do feel the sound changing, but no body at all.

You need to run it through a cab simulator/impulses
