FirePod + Cubase 4 Problem

Yeah, for that stuff I usually ballpark with the Cubase (Windows) or Ardour (Linux) included stuff to save CPU use (as I like having at least 50% free processor just because I never feel like I have enough headroom) and then process it once when I know what I want (I usually spend about 2 hours getting a 'blanket' setting and then tweak individual tracks on the rare occasion that they need special attention) just to cut down on EQ inserts that I know I won't be tweaking. The only time I don't do that is when I'm working with DKFH2-processed WAV files (I export one of those at a time from MIDI to WAV for convenience) and I don't know what I'll need for a given sample. You might as well give that a shot, just to see if that plugin is actually fucked or just misbehaving temporarily.
