I tried to install the new Firepod drivers and when the time came to "connect and turn on the Firepod", my computer didn't find it. What can I do?

use the one provided on the CD v1.20 that's the best one (lowest latency).
If you use XP you only need v1.20 or v2.14 (if you use 2 firepods).

I did it and still nothing. My PC just can't seem to locate the Firepod... I think this has happened before with some other device. I connected it and then unplugged it. And again plugged it in and nothing. Shit...
I had this issue on another computer with my MOTU 828mkII. I had to get a session done so I put hooked up my m-audio mobile pre and once the computer detected that, it also detected my 828.
Still nothing. Fuuuuuuck! Frustrating! I've tried to remove and re-install the drivers and stil nothing 
HAHA! Problem solved! I had the wrong adapter in use. Don't know why it needs the exact same adapter but it works now properly.

have you tried turning on the firepod before turning on the computer?
I do this and it does the trick for me...
EDIT: forget it. I though you were having problem with the blue/sync light.
