Hello! I find that the recordings of the new albums are excellent, but the final mastering for the CDs are far too compressed and maximized, which causes a lot of ear fatigue and digital clipping. Here's what I'm talking about,

Now I love listening to metal loudly, but I use my volume knob to crank the volume up. If the volume is too compressed and loud during the studio mastering, it just kills the emotion and dynamics of the record which Firewind has a lot of! Let me know your opinions please :)

I know that the Firewind albums are maxed out and compressed as fuck, thats probably because its a kind of thing the mixing department does, i think Frederic Norstrom does that on all albums he mixes. you can't help it it's Gus his decision to do it this way, only i cant understand why
