Hey dudes/dudettes, as you can probably guess from the title im in desperate need of help with nailing a keyboard tone and would greatly appreciate any help/advice anyone could give!
I have been home recording a bunch of songs a friend of mine and I have written and we decided it would be cool to add some big keyboard melodies to spice things up a bit so we wrote a bunch, bought a Korg (keyboard) and a vast array of various midi synth plugins but have really struggled to get the kind of tone we are after. Essentially the beautiful tone Katsionis gets in 'falling to pieces' is very close to what we are after, are there any budding keyboardists out there who could offer some tips please on how to achieve this? We have been trying for several months and although we have made progress and found some pretty cool stuff we have not got as close as I would have liked.
