Haven't spoken about the leg in a long time...

I'm still not 100% and not even close. There is one section of my quadracep which is not responding as quickly as I would have thought and that is holding me back. I can't do any high impact exercise yet - not even a treadmill. Last time I saw my surgeon he said that its possible that area won't come back but he thought it would. I can walk with little or no discomfort but steep downhill and going down steps is still a bit of an issue. This month is better than last month and so on and so on. Hopefully the knee is responding but just in small increments and I'm not really noticing it. I see the surgeon soon so I'll get his take on it.

So I think my dream of walking in to Giants training camp and competing for RB is out of my hands now. In the meantime I keep hitting the health club and do my exercises.

Ken,

When the time comes : I'm sure your doctor knows-- I have an unrepaired torn ACL and meniscus. Incline on tread mill puts less stress on the knee. Decline-yuck. I vary during a session between 4.5% to 15%.

Keep up working at it ; it's a long road , but eventually you'll succeed.
