I'm about a half hour from Rochester and an hour and 15 minutes from Buffalo.

So it's safe to say that "lake effect" is a term I'm quite familiar with (ha ha)!

Did you go to the Vader show!? Im not in Rochester often at all, but I was at that show and probaly going to Exodus/Arsis in Feb.

More snow means better skiing! In fact, I'm heading up to Granite Peak in WI on Wed. Cannot wait!

I'm working on setting up an interview in Salt Lake City next month. I'm thinking that I may stay an extra day and bring my ski gear.

I think it would be a mistake NOT to bring the ski gear. Never been out there, but I can't imagine anywhere in the midwest competing with even the worst mountains out west.

After having lived in both areas, I can say that you are absolutely correct. Midwest mountains got nothin' on the Rockies.

Nope, didn't make that show. I'll have to keep Exodus in mind for Feb though.

Problem with Rochester is the lack of good, small venues...
