Let me know what you guys think...

I used all I had - a SM58. There are some pops and that in places :( I managed to edit around some of them but I might need to get some fresh takes. Also, never used autotune before. How obvious is it? it is only ever adjusting maybe 5-10 cents.. when should I ask for better takes? Never even recorded a vocalist before

Thanks dude, I'm tweaking the levels still.. not used to having to mess with levels so much in automation ahaha. as far as the reverb thing goes, do you mean on the cleans or the screams?

The main cleans are wayyyyy to reverby. I barely ever use reverb on vocals, I like my delay :D I'd bring the level of the distant sounding vocals up a bit, you can barely hear them.

For some reason I've got into the habit of manually adjusting the levels by looking at the waveform and then deciding how much it needs to come up to be level, then adjusting the gain in sonar using destructive editing. I do this because I can change the overall vocal level really easily that way without pissing about with automation.

I love the rest of the mix tho, its seriously nice.

I think I might have left a verb on one of the clean tracks.. whoops. Right now I've got them all sent to an effects track with a light delay & verb on it. I'll fix this stuff up tonight :) Your way of doing it might work better for me.. one other thing I want to try is sending all the vox to their own bus and then compressing that so that the machine can handle it
