nothing really special, this is just the first testrecording with it (not much tweaking, no Mic-moving etc)....
it's so versatile I really have to learn the knobs a bit before it'll reveal its full potential, but I thought I'd post this for starters:

Savage60

2 tracks of Emg (18v)-loaded Robin

HP/LP @ 60Hz/12k....nothing else

sounds nice and familiar(my band's guitarist has the 120watter)! ;) Very nice growl to the sound! A few tips with the Engls I've noticed that work: 1. No TS 2. keep the mids very high(!) 3. Be careful not to have the presence too high, will make it too thin and fizzy. 4. they have A LOT of gain so even 11 o'clock might be enough hehe.

Have you tried it with the depth boost on? I think it would sound even more brutal with that one on! (maybe lessen the bass when it's on though)

Sounds really good, it seems quite dry compared to some of the other ENGL's (Fireball/Powerball especially). I bet it would really hold its own in the mix. I'd love to hear some lead playing on this too, as I heard this is where the Savage really shines.

I think I preferred the middle setting for the presence; not too dark but thicker sounding than the first clip.

You forgot some settings :)
In the lead channel the gain is the sum of GAIN and LEAD.
Hi-Range suppressor? Bright? Lead Boost? Depth boost?

The first clip is very good and also the last one!

Sounds very nice already, I also like the first and last clips the most (I think the ideal tone would lie between those two... the first one is a bit too much with aggressive highend, the last then sounds a little too tame in comparison).

I remember when I tried out a Savage 120 I couldn't really get a satisfying rhythm tone out of it (or better said: the tone was lacking compared to the Invader 100 that stood next to it), but when playing a lead on the Savage I was like "OMFG!!!". Then I tried to get an equally nice leadsound out of the Invader and didn't succeed either.

Conclusion: Please post some lead guitar clips! :)

I use all the buttons in, the gain at 11:00/12:00 and the lead at 12:00/15:00. I used to use the Hi-range very low near 0 and the mids high but now trying your settings, the savage sounds better, less boxy and more aggressive.
