Well, for the first time ever, i tried my hand at reamping.

I used the Peavy VYPR practice amp on the 6505 setting, which I really like, and will eventually try to get an actual 6505.

I miced it with a RodeNT1A, off axis towards the center of the speaker.

Reamped, and then mixed as usual.

I really like how it turned out, however, I'm kind of a retard, so any critiques are welcome.

Nice job. Really tight guitar sound for such a teeny setup and I like the gothenburg riffs. Sounds like the drums could come down a bit and have some more of the room mics but not a biggie.

I also did a Song of Storms cover a while ago hahah, shitty sloppy solo but it was lots of fun, Amon Amarth-style:

Bryan, thanks man! i was worried about how it was going to sound, but I really liked how it turned out. Like i said, i'm going to eventually invest in a full stack with a 6505. And It's not a 15w amp. It's bigger than that, like....... maybe 50-65 ish? somewhere in there.

And jim, i definitely will look into the drums.

Also, you're cover is pretty damn great, definitely feeling the Viking vibe, and you're solo was still pretty damn impressive.
