Still getting used to impulses...to be honest this is only the second time ive tried recording with them, this mix has gradually sounded better due to help from a friend

Engl v30 4x12 impulse cab through boogex

5150 II on green channel bright, mids 6, highs 7, low 6, pre gain 5, and a tubescreamer in front

Mixed in nuendo with a little eqing

Any suggestions are apperciated

How would i go about making it sound less dark? that seems to be my problem, as my mate that was helping me mix it online, every mix i sent him, he kept saying it was too dark.
