First mix, My bands new song 7string 5150II content :)

Hey guys, just finished a new mix, i think this is defenetly one of my best ive done (not that any of mine are good :/).

Guitars are double tracked not quad, and im using one of guitarhacks new IR impulses on the right and poidabois engl impulse on the left,

Using a schecter c-7 blackjack atx

Any comments or suggestions would be welcomed

I think the left guitar could be a tiny bit louder, and both guitars can come up quite a bit in the mix. Sounds pretty good otherwise!

-cymbals are too loud compared to the rest of the drums

-drums in general are too loud in the mix

Ok, i lowered the cymbals by like 2-3db on the drums, i did notice once you mentioned it that they were a tad loud haha

Ive taken down the drums by 2db in the mix which makes the guitars stand out more as Unavailable said they could be turned up in the mix.

Sounds better already but :

-cymbals/hi hat/... are still a bit too loud, and sound too programmed (i assume they are)

-guitar sound is not bad but sounds a bit sterile/cold, very POD-ish i would say... i think you can do better with the 5150 II seriously... unless that tone suits you
